Session Title

Large-Scale SharePoint Architecture

Description

This session describes best practices gathered through a variety of complicated global projects with respect to architecture from all angles - including logical, physical, information and solution architectures – in order to understand large-scale SharePoint deployments as set of cohesive, manageable parts. Detailed topics include scalable, modular approaches to deployment, provisioning, and upgrades, a study of information management topologies, and the use of SharePoint to host multiple applications. The end result is a “big picture” view of SharePoint as a hosted platform with a deeper understanding of its myriad moving, changing parts.
